Kepler Residency

The Kepler Residency is an intensive writers’ retreat for Dutch filmmakers working with Keplerfilm on their feature films. The aim of the residency is to give filmmakers the time and space to fully focus on their projects in a remote and inspiring environment. Over the course of three weeks, participants work under the guidance of internationally renowned professionals, such as film consultants and experienced screenwriters. In addition to writing and developing films, the residency promotes the exchange of ideas among filmmakers. These collaborations and in-depth discussions provide new perspectives and strengthen their stories. The previous editions took place in Switzerland (2021) and Brittany, France (2022), where Keplerfilm projects such as CAPTAIN NOVA, HOTEL SINESTRA, DE JACHT OP MERAL Ö., CASTING CALL, PINK MOON, KILLABEES, and VLAM were developed.
