Founded in 2016 by producers and longtime friends Derk-Jan Warrink and Koji Nelissen, Keplerfilm works on a broad range of films, including shorts and features, local productions, and international (co)productions. Among others, Keplerfilm has produced Dutch Oscar entry BULADÓ (Eché Janga), Tribeca Special Mention winner PINK MOON (Floor van der Meulen), Rose d’or winning TV Series TALKING HEADS (Menno Otten), and has co-produced award-winning films such as Cannes Caméra d’Or winner ARMAND (Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel) and Semaine de la Critique Grand Prize winner FEATHERS (Omar El Zohairy). Through EAVE, ACE, and Binger Filmlab, Koji and Derk-Jan expanded their international network, and in 2022, Keplerfilm was selected as one of THE EURO 75 by Screen International, highlighting Europe’s leading independent producers.

Keplerfilm strongly values building a creative foundation for talented writers and directors, encouraging them to find their personal voices, think boldly, and experiment with their storytelling. Driven by a passion for telling genuine, human stories that are both relatable and moving, Keplerfilm aims to create heartfelt, high-quality films for a wide audience.
